2B) Skill and competence strategies in Norwegian companies – Best practice

Investments in life-long learning is important for the Norwegian business sector in order to tackle increasing demand for transformation, driven by demographic changes and digitalisation.

On behalf of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Samfunnsøkonomisk Analyse has conductet a reseach study where they have identifyed good examples of Competence Development Strategies in Norwegian companies. The project also highlights barriers and opportunities for investments in life long learning.

In this session, you will learn about the key findings from the study, and six recommendations for creating long lasting strategies for life long learning in companies and enterprises.
