EEG Made Easier: Practical Tools for Infant and Child Research, Practical hands-on lunch workshop sponsored by BrainVision (pre-registration required)

12:15 - 13:45 Wednesday, 12th November, 2025

Meeting Room Boardroom East & West

BrainVision sponsored hands-on and applied session includes lunch, for the first 40 participants who register.

Recording and analyzing brain activity from infants and toddlers comes with unique challenges that we are very familiar with at Brain Vision. This workshop will be led by Dr. Jessica Sanches Figueira, who herself did child developmental research before joining Brain Vision.  She will showcase practical solutions that she and others have developed over the years to meet the specific needs of developmental researchers.

We will cover approaches to optimize EEG acquisition in infants, including case studies on infant-friendly setups to achieve fast preparation and artifact reduction. Participants will learn about recent advances in EEG hardware and software that support reliable, high-quality data collection in infants including hands on time with our most frequently used systems for developmental EEG recording.

We welcome researchers of all levels, from those just beginning with EEG to experienced labs seeking to refine their protocols. Attendees will leave with concrete tools and applicable strategies to enhance the quality and efficiency of their infant EEG studies.

Attendance is limited to the first 40 who register in advance and is now sold out. If you have registered to this event and wish to cancel, making room for someone else, please let Joan Oefner know ASAP, there is a waiting list.
